In December 2015, 195 countries met in Paris to combat global warming. Reducing CO2 emissions, for example by making less use of fossil energy sources such as coal, oil and gas, play an important role in this. Companies in the maritime and offshore industry are also thinking hard about reducing the CO2 emissions of their operations and switching to a low-CO2 energy system. During the Maritime & Offshore Career Event on March 28, Jan Versteegh talked to students, young professionals - including Vincent Doedee - about the transitions in their company and industry and what these developments mean for their careers now and in the future.
